In The Sign of the Medici
Last days to visit the exhibition “Nel segno dei Medici” (As a sign of Medici’s).
The exhibition is an in-depth reflection about the precious gifts of sacred character that the Medici (from Cosimo I to Ferdinando I up to Cosimo III, devoting special attention to Cristina di Lorena, Vittoria della Rovere and Maria Maddalena d’Austria) offered to the shrines of Tuscany: votive crowns, supplies for altars, chalices, monstrances, reliquaries etc., all object of highest quality made by masters like Jonas Falck, Matteo Nigetti and Pietro Tacca, Giovan Battista Foggini and Massimiliano Soldani Benzi.

The exhibition will open until the 3rd November, at the Cappelle Medicee’s Museum in Florence.
