The Great American Choral Series in Florence
We are really happy to welcome to the city of Florence the partecipating choirs of ‘The Great American Choral Series in Florence”, a news in the ToscanaClassica2015 event, the musical festival that promotes young talents not only from Tuscany but worldwide as well!
Sure enough, the young american talents are the new entry in this year event. The project has a very strong tradition in the USA; here it consists in organizing two performances in the Auditorium Santo Stefano al Ponte (wednesday, june 10 and friday june 12, 2015) of choirs coming form different Colleges and Universities: among the partecipants we have the Montclair State University Choral Ensemble, the Michigan State University Choral Union, the Southern California Chorale and The Castlewood Singers. The whole collaboration between the city of Florence and the american choirs is possible tanks to MidAmerican Production, a society that works with the Carnagie Hall and the Lincoln Center of New York among others.
