Anthony Gormley presents the show “HUMAN” in Florence
Sunday morning, the 26th of April 2015, the works of Sir Antony Gormley were exposed in a show at the Forte Belvedere in Florence. This show consists of 100 sculptures of the British artist, put togheter for the first time in a wonderful open-air storic scenario.
Antony Gormley is well known for his permanent work of contemporary art all around the world. This time he was called to organize a project in which part of the works were specifically created for the show; meanwhile other previous pieces has been adapted to the current set of the Forte. As a matter of fact, thanks to this exhibition, it is possible to visit and enjoy the long forgotten parts of the fortress and their stunning view over the city and the surrounding hills.
“Human” will be open till 27th September and it is completely free. Guided tours are available every hour but it is requested a reservation.
