Past and present at the Florence design week of Florence

At Florence, a month full of events, which will also host the third edition of Florence design week from 22th to 27th may 2012.

The Florence design week will gather in Florence the most important design operators and design expert, which will involve the entire city performances, events and new artistic proposals.

This year’s theme is Connecting Time, that is the link between past and present, crafts and digital language.

The festival will get in an impressive setting, like the center of Florence, where modern design will blend with the historical beauties of the city, to emphasize even more the connection between current creative and past.

Already in collaboration with Design d’autore, main partner, Melbourne design festival and London design festival, last year the Florence design week has also received the Alto Patronato by the President of Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, confirming Florence among cities in the world more open to trade and cultural influences.
