From May 4 to 6 returns “Florence of children” festival promoted by the city of Florence and organized by MUS.E, for three days the city will be “child” with 140 activities completely free for all children from 0 to 12 years. The central focus of this year will be ingenuity, an invitation for all children to curiosity, discovery, reflection and analysis. Precisely for this reason there will be eight different locations, each of which will deal with a
theme.
The opening event is on Friday May 4th at 6 pm at Palazzo Vecchio in the Salone dei Cinquecento to continue in the following two days at: Le Oblate, prestigious library behind the cathedral where all activities related to linguistic communication will take place; Le Murate, a lively cultural center where artistic workshops will be held; Istituto degli Innocenti, historical nest of children and young people, where there will be initiatives to reflect on their own well-being and their identity; The botanical garden, will be the site of paths and activities to discover nature; Museo Novecento, here we will witness experiences and workshops on new technologies, media education, robotics and artificial intelligence; Piazza Gui and Teatro del Maggio will be the venue for workshops and performances on the different skills of music; Parco delle cascine, the city’s green lung will host paths and performances dedicated to the potential of the body and the movement.
The event will end on Sunday 6 May at 5 pm at Palazzo Vecchio in the Salone dei Cinquecento with the largest choir in the world.
