At Palazzo Strozzi, the exhibition “Nascita di una Nazione tra Guttuso, Schifano e Fontana” “
After the success of the exhibitions on the Italian Cinquecento, from 16th March to 22th July in the setting of Palazzo Strozzi an exhibition will open that will allow visitors to travel among the most disparate forms of modern Italian art starting from the Realism of the early 50s, passing through the triumph of the Informal Art up to the local Pop Art and the ’68 contesting movements.
Emblematic works of great artists of those years such as Guttuso, Fontana, Burri and Schifano gathered together for the first time and representing the Italian cultural ferment after World War II, the years of the so-called “economic miracle”.
