“Roberto Bolle and Friends” in Florence
The étoile Roberto Bolle, born in Casale Monferrato close to Alessandria, is one of the greatest classical and contemporary dancers in the world.
Friday night 7th July and Saturday night 8th July he will be guest on the stage of the “Opera Hause” in Vittorio Gui Square in Florence with the Gala “Roberto Bolle and Friends”.
Since 2008 he danced around Italy bringing with great success his Gala in places where none made a dance performance before: such as the Milan Cathedral porch or the Plebiscito square in Naples, where thousands of people attended to the event. In this way Bolle became a powerful cultural mean of dance diffusion, who catches every year a great public of dance lovers and not.
It’s a completely new show and for the first time Roberto Bolle is dancer and the Artistic Director, performing a little bit of everything, starting from the most important classic repertory to the most contemporary choreographies. Bolle is able to transform every single performance in a magic show, thanks to the participation of some of the most important world’s dancers and kicking off with them to intense and surprising programs.
Every year the “Roberto Bolle and Friends” Gala puts together the best world’s dancers offering to the public a wonderful occasion to enjoy of a top level dance night, bringing this out from the definition of “niche art” to become available also for the big public.
In the cast there are two first dancers of the Dutch National Ballet of Amsterdam:
Daniel Camargo and Sasha Mukhamedov.
