Negroni in town!
The most awaited spring event for drinker lovers comes back! From 6th to 12th May after the latest successful editions Florence will host for the 4th consecutive year the Cocktail Week.
Florence Cocktail Week is a party, where every night in the cocktail bars of Tuscany and Florence, professionals as well as cocktail lovers can assist to masterclass and nightshift made by Italian and International guests. 30 cocktail bars, thanks to the creativity of their Bartenders, will offer their own cocktail list.
The public can choose between 4 different kind of cocktails: Twist on Negroni, Riesco a Bere Italiano (I can drink italian), I love bitter and Green drink.
The Twist on Negroni is the signature cocktail of this edition and it celebrates the 100th anniversary from the creation of the world’s most famous Florentine cocktail; The Riesco a Bere Italiano (I can drink italian ) is a cocktail only prepared with “made in Italy” ingredients. I love Bitter is dedicated to those who loves bitter, strong and aromatic tastes, while The Green drink is a low alcohol or alcohol free cocktails served in eco-friendly glass.
During this edition it will be possible to attend to a round table which celebrates the 100th anniversary of Negroni with the title:“ The Century of Negroni. History, protagonists and the evolution of the most loved italian cocktail in the world”.
Many italian and international guests participate in this event such as Mauro Mahjoub, “The King of Negroni” from Munich, Jared Brown and Anistatia Miller from London and David Wondrich from New York.
On 12th May the FCW Awards Ceremony rewards the cocktail bars which has prepared the best Cocktail List of the week.
Moreover, for the first time FCW involves 49 Cocktail Bars of Tuscany, with the purpose of delivering before the beginning of the occasion a Cocktail List created exclusively for this particular week.
