China National Exhibition of Fine Arts
Ends in Italy, in Florence, the world tour of “China National Exhibition of Fine Arts“.
The China National Exhibition of Fine Artsis an event born in 1949, which occurs every five years and involve several cities in China. This year, on the 65th anniversary of the China’s Republic’s birth, for the first time it starts with a world tour that will stop in the United States, New Zealand, Japan and will finish in Florence, singular event in Italy.
The exhibition will host a selection of 65 contemporary masterpieces some made by the best contemporary Chinese artists and will describe the China’s cultural and artistic evolution and the transformation of Chinese society. The works include contemporary, traditional and modern paintings, prints, sculptures, watercolors and mixed media; the aim is to inform the world about languages and contemporary Chinese artists’ multiplicity and their open vision.
Palazzo Medici Riccardi will host the exhibition. The works will be showed in all the exhibition spaces of the historic building, from Medical Museum to Limonaia and the Museum’s Path on the first floor, to the ground floor rooms Fabiani.
The event will be inaugurated in the Sala Luca Giordano the 30th October at 18.00.
The exhibition will end on 17th November.
