Stibbert, in his will, offered his house to the city of Florence. He wanted the house to be a museum accessible for everybody, and this promise was kept by the city.
In this Sunday of May, it will be possible to visit the museum with a tour guide at the cost of 8 € per person + the cost of the museum ticket. To participate, you need to send an email at artemiaprato@gmail.com.
The Stibbert Museum boasts many collections: European, Japanese and Islamic armory, paintings, china and costumes. Among the paintings, there are also works by Botticelli, Bronzino and Brueghel.
