Saint John’s Nocturnal Race
Florence never gets tired of running! The Deejay Ten footrace, that took place last sunday and almost counted 15.000 racers, was a huge success and the Color Run is coming to town for its first edition (may 23, 2015 in the Cascine Park. Save the Date!) but that’s not enough! Florence loves to run and we want to inform you about another footrace in the streets of our city: Saint John’s Nocturnal race.
This time we are talking about a very well known event, it is the second most ancient race in Italy and one of the most important competitive date of the country. This year occurs the 76th edition and takes place on Saturday, 20 June 2015 at 9 pm and the starting and finish line are set in Piazza del Duomo in Florence.
If you want to partecipate you have to register and pay an entry fee of 10€. All the racers will receive the official t-shirt of the event as a gift. Every year the tshirt is printed with a work of a florentine artist and this year they chose Fabio de Paoli.
Applications are open online on www.firenzemarathon.it or you can go to Firenze Marathon Office in Viale Fanti 2 (opening times: from 9.30 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, monday to friday).
