Religions Festival – 2nd Edition
It’s back in Florence the Religions Festival for its 2nd edition from may 15 to may 17, 2015. The motto for this year is #andiamoltre (litterally “let’s move forward”) to find a dialogue and overcome the difficulties and the destructive conflicts that affects our society and our lifes nowadays. As a matter of fact the topic origins from the last circumstances happened in the world. We need some time to stop to think about what’s happening and understand why today wars and armed conflicts are still called in name of God.
#andiamoltre is meant to be a starting point to defeat ideologic bounderies and reaffirm the human being as worthed of respect and dignity, without any prejudice of any kind.
The programme of the event consists in a series of meetings and conferences with italian and international guests, such as teologists, writers, journalists, philosophers, historians and so on, both believers and laical. The whole event is organised by the italian philosopher Francesca Campana Comparini, who also established the cultural association ‘Luoghi d’Incontro’.
