Craft and Palace: workshops and their commissioned work
From May 14 to May 17, 2015 the 21st Edition of ‘Craft and Palace: workshops and their commissioned work‘ will be opened in the stunning seventeeth-century set of Corsini Gardens in Florence, which will open their gates only for this event.
The exhibition market gather up 80 of the most creative and competent florentine, italian and european artisans. Moreover it will be the venue for other kind of events during the four days. Craft and Palace was born from the need to reevaluate and rediscover nowadays the figure of the artisan and its work: so the focus is set on the importance of the handicraft and its creation; every work is different from the other beacuse unique.
As usual a lot of artisans will be partecipating but this year a news is to be expected. In fact the show ‘750 years+1: Fabriano and paper since 1264’ was organised, dedicated to the history of the Fabriano company, masters of the paper handicraft in Italy and all over the world. On the occasion of Expo2015 some high autorithy of the culinary arts will be at the event, such as the chefs of the Pasticceria Don Gino who will take to Florence the flavours of the original sicialian patisserie, or the owners of the Azienda Biologica Palm-Orto who produce organic fruits and vegetables.
The exhibition show is open from 10 am to 9 pm . Tickets are available online on boxofficetoscana.it or directly at the gates of the event and they cost 10€ (for any type of reduction visit the website). Everyday it will be possible to make a guided tour of the Corsini Gardens thanks to the Associazione Città Nascosta.
