“The Great Beauty” and the Tuscan charm …

A new event for Italian cinema, Hollywood returns to applaud Italy , after fifteen years after the historic victory of toscanaccio Roberto Benigni for “Life is Beautiful ” , Paolo Sorrentino arrives who dedicates his statuette to the ” Talking Heads , Federico Fellini , Martin Scorsese and Diego Armando Maradona . “

But how Tuscany is hiding in the film? Let’s start with the  because in this land Sorrentino chose to set the adolescent memories of the protagonist Jep ( Servillo ) , precisely at the tip of the lighthouse Capel Rosso , in the south of the island. Unforgettable is the scene where the journalist Jep adult stops to observe the tragic wreck of the Costa Concordia .

Among the actors there is also the Prato Pamela Villoresi , who plays Viola , a friend of Jep , a mother who has to deal with a child with mental health problems .
