At Teatro Verdi in Florence, on 27th – 30th October 2011, Antonio Albanese, great comedian and one of the most talented artists in Italy, will be on stage with the show “Characters”.

Albanese’s “Characters ” contains all the faces, the interpretations and nuances of the most popular characters created in his career as a comedian: the immigrant that can not fit in the North, the entrepreneur who works 16 hours a day, the sommelier that decant seraphically the wine, the political candidate few honest, the “optimist” visionary who lives in a perfect world, the tender “Epiphanius”  and his international dreams.

His characters are much deeper than it may seem, are, somehow, aspects of social alienation, full of tics, hyperactive and melancholic.
